Defining High Quality Sound

Defining High Quality Sound

Every year around this time retailers start gearing up for the upcoming holiday season. They are all getting their sales lined up for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Hanukkah, Christmas and any other excuse in between to have a sale.

All of these sales offer the latest and greatest of anything you could ask for. If you're looking to purchase new clothes, all of the latest trends and styles are on sale. If you're looking for a new TV, it seems as if every model is in 4K with superior picture quality. If you are looking for a new stereo or speakers, every model seems offer a system with "higher quality sound". But what is higher quality sound?

Higher quality sound can mean different things to different people. Most of the time when a consumer is searching for a higher quality sound for their TV, they want to replicate the same audio experience they get at the movie theaters in comfort of their own home.

Home theater systems tend to fill this need of the consumer. One of the main features of a home theater systems is that it reproduces the sound the way the director intended it. It creates an all encompassing audio experience when you hear the programming. While that sounds great to most, what tends to get sacrificed the most is the part we need the most, the dialogue.

Films and TV shows produce three different types of sounds: human voices, music and sound effects. While all three are important part of your viewing experience, understanding human voices set the pace for the other two. With a home theater system, all three tend to get equal billing and when they overlap, it makes it harder to understand what is being said on screen.

We at KARE look at high quality sound a little differently. While we understand the importance of music and sound effects, we want to focus our efforts into creating higher quality dialogue for the consumer.

Through our ChairSpeaker systems, a person can enjoy and understand what is being said on screen a lot more clearly than what the director had in mind because of the higher quality dialogue. The ChairSpeaker can amplify the human voices, while decreasing the background noise so this way you can easily follow along to what is being said.

This one feature can make all the difference in the world when you are watching your favorite TV show or movie.
