Happy Labor Day

Happy Labor Day

For most folks, Labor Day marks the end of summer and the chance to enjoy a long weekend.  Many Americans will fire up the grill, countless others will curl up over the long weekend to enjoy binge-watching their favorite TV shows. And some of those people will be enjoying every word of every episode of their favorite shows, thanks to their new Chair Speakers for TV!

We’re happy to be part of their long holiday weekend – and we’re happy they made the decision to invest in a device so they hear the TV better – but this year happens to be a special Labor Day, so we wanted to take a moment to look back and remember.

Ast the U.S. Department of Labor reminds us, Labor Day 2019 is the 125th anniversary of Labor Day being celebrated as a national holiday. While most people consider the holiday the end of summer, it was actually established to celebrate and honors the greatest workers in the world –American workers!

The Department of Labor explains that Labor Day grew out of a celebration started by the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

We hope that you enjoy the work you do – or the work that you did! If you work or worked in an environment where loud noises were common, that could be the reason you’re here now, shopping for a TV listening device that will allow you to hear even the dialogue that is too quiet.

All of the people who work hard to bring Chair Speakers for TV to you would like to wish you and your family a very happy Labor Day. We are looking forward to celebrating the holiday with our family and friends, too, but our team will be back at work on Tuesday, building quality and care into every set of wireless speakers for TV that we sell.
